Imagine It Said Policies

What is the Attendance Policy?

Patient must maintain at least an 80% attendance rate as measured within a given 3-month period or risk losing my appointment slot.

What is the Cancellation Policy?

In order to better serve you and make quicker progress toward goals, regular attendance to therapy is imperative. The most common cause of lack of progress is inconsistent attendance. Please read through the following:

In the event of a cancellation, provide as much notice as possible. Voicemails and texts can be left at any time. “Non-emergency” cancellations require 24 hours’ notice and include vacations, pre-planned medical appointments, family events, parties, sports events, lack of babysitters, or anything that is not designated as an “emergency”. If the session is not canceled within 24-hour notice, patient will be responsible for paying the full cost of the session. “Emergency” cancellations are accepted only for illness (fever within the last 24 hours, strep, unidentified rash, diarrhea, vomiting, or any highly contagious illness), illness of a family member, or death in the family. Emergency cancellations must occur at least 1-hour prior to session time to prevent therapist from traveling to client’s home/school or a $30 charge will incur. If the therapist has arrived to the home for the session and the child is not available for therapy, the patient will be charged the full session rate. These charges cover the cost of planning, travel, and loss of treatment time.

After 3 "emergency" cancellations, a $30 charge will be incurred for all subsequent emergency cancellations within a calendar year. In the event of an emergency cancellation, patient must still notify the therapist on the day of the appointment to avoid a “no-show” fee for the full cost of the session rate. I recognize that my attendance is not dependent upon the receipt of an email/text reminder.

What is the Inclement Weather Policy?

Imagine it Said follows the Council Rock School District for closures and delays.

Closures:  If Council Rock is closed, then in-person therapy is cancelled for that day; however, those patients have the option to make up that therapy session later in the week (if available).  If a patient chooses not to reschedule, they may do so without penalty. Teletherapy is an option on a case by case basis.

Delays: If Council Rock announces a 2-hour delay, then in-person therapy scheduled at 10:00am and earlier will be cancelled.  However, therapy sessions beginning at 10:30am and afterward will proceed as scheduled.  Patients have the option to make up the cancelled therapy session later that day or week (if possible).  If a patient chooses not to reschedule, they may do so without penalty.

What is the Financial Policy?

Thank you for choosing Imagine It Said! Please note that Imagine It Said is a private pay practice at this time and does not directly accept insurance.

All payment for services is required at the time services are rendered. We accept payment by cash or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover) or HSA card.

What is the Discharge Policy?

All patients are re-evaluated for services every 6 months. Discharge from services occurs when goals have been met or there is a violation of the attendance policy.
